Terms of Service

1. About these terms

These Terms govern use of https://bayoubit.net, Bayou Bit's public forms, and Bayou Bit's online services. "Bayou Bit" means Bayou Bit, LLC, doing business as Bayou Bit.

Website Design & Management customers are additionally governed by the Website Service Agreement accepted during signup.

2. Authority

If a person submits information or purchases services for a business or organization, that person represents that they have authority to act for that organization.

3. Accurate information

Users agree to provide reasonably accurate information when submitting inquiries, signing up, or purchasing services.

4. Lead submissions and follow-up

Submitting information through Bayou Bit's Get Started or Contact forms allows Bayou Bit to contact that person regarding the specific website or service inquiry submitted.

A person does not have to purchase services merely because they submit their information.

If they do not complete checkout, Bayou Bit may personally follow up by phone or email regarding that inquiry.

Submitting an inquiry does not constitute consent to unrelated bulk marketing.

5. Paid website service

Submitting Step 1 or another inquiry does not itself create a paid Website Design & Management relationship. The paid relationship begins when:

• the required agreements are accepted; and
• the applicable subscription successfully activates.

6. Pricing

Pricing is displayed during signup — currently $150/month for Founding Clients where available and $199/month standard.

Applicable taxes may be additional.

Certain separately disclosed third-party services or Custom Development work may require additional charges.

7. Payment processing

Payments are processed by third-party payment providers, currently Stripe.

Bayou Bit does not directly store complete payment-card information.

8. Website Service Agreement

Website Design & Management subscriptions are governed by the Website Service Agreement.

If these general Terms conflict with a specific Website Service Agreement regarding the paid subscription, the Website Service Agreement controls for that service.

9. Intellectual property

Bayou Bit's name, logo, website, original marketing content, designs, systems, and proprietary materials may not be copied or commercially exploited without authorization.

Client-owned materials remain governed by the Website Service Agreement.

10. Acceptable use

Users may not use Bayou Bit's website or services to:

• violate law
• submit fraudulent information
• impersonate another person or business
• interfere with website operation
• attempt unauthorized access
• introduce malware
• infringe third-party rights

11. Third-party services

Bayou Bit may link to or integrate third-party websites and services. Those services operate under their own terms and policies.

12. No guaranteed business results

Bayou Bit does not guarantee specific rankings, traffic, leads, customers, revenue, sales, or other commercial results.

13. Privacy

Information submitted through Bayou Bit is handled according to Bayou Bit's Privacy Policy.

14. Electronic communication

Users agree that communications regarding their inquiry, signup, agreement, billing, or Bayou Bit service may occur electronically.

15. Changes

Bayou Bit may update these Terms for future use. The displayed version and effective date identify the current Terms.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Louisiana law, subject to final legally reviewed dispute and venue provisions.
