- What does the monthly price include?
- Website design and development, hosting, domain setup and management, SSL and security, mobile optimization, basic SEO, contact forms, Google integrations, unlimited reasonable website updates, maintenance and ongoing support — for $150 a month with $0 upfront design fee.
- What is the Founding Client offer?
- Our standard price is $199/month. The first 25 active Bayou Bit website clients pay $150/month and keep that rate as long as their subscription stays continuously active.
- What does “unlimited updates” actually mean?
- You can send reasonable ongoing updates to your existing website — text changes, photos, hours, contact details, services, staff, prices and menus, normal design adjustments, standard sections, links and forms. We don't promise instant or same-day completion, and the Website Service Agreement defines scope and turnaround expectations.
- What isn't included?
- Complete rebuilds, major redesigns outside the original scope, custom web applications, SaaS development, complex databases, customer portals, large e-commerce systems and extensive custom integrations are Custom Development and are quoted separately.
- Is there a commitment?
- Because we build your website with no upfront design fee, Website Design & Management starts with an initial 12-month service term and continues month to month afterward.
- Who owns my domain?
- You do, whenever practical. We handle domain setup, DNS, connecting it to your site, technical management and renewals when agreed, but the registration stays in your name. Domain registration and renewal costs may be billed separately.
- Who owns my logo, photos and content?
- You keep ownership of your business name, logos, photos, the copy you provide and other assets you own. We manage them only as needed to run your website. Final website and code ownership, along with what happens after cancellation, is defined in the Website Service Agreement.
- How do I pay?
- Billing runs securely through Stripe as a recurring monthly subscription. You can update payment methods, view invoices and update billing details through the Stripe customer portal.
- Do you only work with Louisiana businesses?
- Louisiana is our home market, but everything we do happens online, so we can work with businesses anywhere.
